Princess and the Plumber plot
"First he made her horse shy. Then he made her heart gallop. A comedy of young love."
Louise, the uncomplicated princess of Daritzia, goes on holiday in the mountains of Switzerland. In her company are the young and wealthy American bachelor Albert Bowers and Baron Von Kemper. At a mountain hut, Von Kemper tries forcibly to attract Louise's attention, but is thwarted by Albert's intervention. In revenge, Von Kemper spreads the rumor that Louise has been assaulted by Albert.
