Preggoland plot
"Fake it 'til you make it."
Ruth leads a fairly typical teenage life: she lives with her father, works as a cashier at the local supermarket, experiments with drugs and alcohol, parties a lot and sleeps regularly. The only problem is that Ruth is 35 years old. In addition, she has less and less in common with her friends who are all already in a stage of parenthood or pregnancy and are openly critical of Ruth's lifestyle. When Ruth's sister, Hillary, announces she's pregnant, she spontaneously blurts out that she's pregnant too. Although she wants to confess her lie in the beginning, she soon finds out that it also has many benefits. Not least the fact that she is once again embraced by her friends.
