Phillauri plot
"Some love stories last beyond a lifetime"
Kanan returns to India from Canada to marry his girlfriend Anu but discovers that since he was born under an unlucky star, he must marry a tree before he can marry Anu. He reluctantly marries the tree, which is duly chopped after the completion of the ceremony. From that day on, he is haunted by the ghost of Shashi, a woman who lived in the tree and now claims to be married to him.
