Paolo il Caldo plot
A Sicilian baron appears to have inherited the horny nature of his ancestors as a child and as an adult makes a series of conquests, without distinction in rank and class, and lets fascism, war and liberation pass by as unimportant incidents. As an elderly man, his spirit is still willing, but the flesh becomes weak and marriage to a young pharmacist's daughter offers no solace, because she is frigid.
