Our Wife plot

Talented musician and composer Jerome "Jerry" Marvin is filled with self-pity after being separated from his wife Babe. Then Jerry meets Susan Drake and falls in love with her, freeing him from his self-pity. Susan gives Jerry fresh inspiration to finish his script for a trumpet concert. This concert, a true 'labor of love', is a huge success and Jerry plans to marry Susan. However, Jerry has to overcome one hurdle: his unscrupulous ex-wife Babe wants him back and she does everything in her power to recapture him.
