Obvious Child plot
Donna Stern is a 27-year-old comedian from Brooklyn who is doing very well with audiences. When she is heartlessly dumped by her cheating boyfriend, she hits rock bottom. She falls into a gloomy series of revenge and Holocaust jokes and, in a drunken stupor, ends up in bed with the young Max, who is not her type at all. A few weeks later she finds out that she has become pregnant.
