No More Excuses plot

After injuring his left buttock, Confederate Private Stewart Thompson lays low until the battle passes him by and flees to New York. There he roams through the city in different time periods and meets, among others, President James Garfield and his murderer. Images of the Vietnam War surface, after which a reporter asks a rapist – during his act – for his view on the war in question. Moments later, Allen Abel, president of an animal welfare association, gives a speech about why animals - all over the world - should wear clothes.
