"A NAVY WIFE LEARNS THE FACTS OF LIFE IN THE LAND OF THE GEISHA GIRLS!"

In post-war Japan, Peg Blain and her daughter Debby join Peg's husband and officer Jack Blain. Jack is commander of a US naval base in Japan. Impressed by Peg and Debby's independence and self-reliance, local Japanese women begin to demand the same rights and privileges as American women. At a military Christmas party, their demands come to the fore and a solution seems to be on the way.
