Animal House really is such an explicit and bland teen movie that we are now thrown to death. Revolutionary for the time, but now mainly dated and unsurprising. The humor works sporadically, and the strongest point of the film are the actors who go all out. The women are mainly stupid or a sex object, but you know that in these kinds of films. Just like the young men, who act more like potential rapists than normal college students. But I have never (luckily) been a member of a student association.

Messy and jumping from scratch with unenthusiastic characters... but comical and a trendsetter that gave rise to numerous student comedies. The adventures of the Delta Brotherhood have nothing to do with studies, everything to do with having fun, partying and hitting girls.
