Becca, Adam and their 5-year-old daughter Acie live the perfect life until a tragic accident ends that happiness. Overcome with grief over Adam's death, Becca decides to leave her daughter with Grandpa Rick and seek redress from an old friend. She leaves the family farm and, on June's advice, plunges somewhat naively into a life full of parties and alcohol. It turns out to be no cure for the pain of hair loss and ultimately results in an arrest. And then Becca has no choice but to fall back on the faith she once had and the family she held so dear.
