Mein Blind Date mit dem Leben plot

Saliya Kahawatte (Kostja Ullmann) has a clear plan for his life, he would like to work in a hotel. However, just before his school exams, due to a congenital eye defect, he begins to lose his sight to the point that he is nearly blind. After successfully passing his exams, he wants to do an internal training at a hotel, but he is not allowed anywhere because of his disability. Saliya decides to take a chance and apply for a job without mentioning his disability. With the help of his sister, a new friend and a lot of guts, he manages to fool the hotel management of a chic 5 star hotel in Munich. The question is, how long will this last?
