Mateji, Proc te Holky Nechtejí? plot
Matej Hurka is an eighteen-year-old bricklayer's apprentice and volunteer firefighter who lives with his grandmother in a picturesque village. He loves nature and would like to become a forest ranger. In addition, he experiences his first love for the beautiful Barca Cupalová, who has returned to her parents after a long stay in a remote provincial town. However, Matej is too shy, and before he can make his move at the dance, Barca is taken from him by the hunk Evzen. Meanwhile, his grandmother wonders how to announce to her grandson, whom she is raising alone after the death of his mother, that she is marrying the energetic retiree Vokurka.
