Maratón plot

It is May 5, 1945 and the uprising against the hated German occupiers has begun in Prague. The Czech guards open the cell doors in the Pankrác prison to let the prisoners escape. Many of them are shot by the Germans, but the young Ruda manages to escape and is taken in by resistance fighter Kytka. He hides Ruda in a flat where only the young Karla is left and asks her to take care of him.
