Henry (Fritz Wepper) and Mario (Friedrich Von Thun) are two elderly safe-crackers. Because they are actually too old for the crime, one wants to become a mechanic and the other a saxophonist. When that doesn't go so well, they are persuaded by petty thief Fleix (Jörg Schüttauf) to make one last blow.
