"Hello, my name is Andy and this is my movie."
As a budding comedian, Andy Kaufman doesn't have it easy. His anarchic form of humor is rarely caught, forcing him to focus on imitating Elvis. This ensures the necessary success with the general public. He is discovered by George Shapiro, a manager who lands him a part in the popular sitcom "Taxi". However, Andy refuses to be boxed in and follow the norm. When his television career comes to a dead end, he decides to look for his future in professional wrestling.

Wow, Kaufman is portrayed strongly here by Jim Carrey. I only knew him from his role as Latka and after watching this film I started to delve more into the person. I do think Jim Carrey portrays him really scary well. That to me is the greatest charm of the film, but how unparalleled he has done it!
Kaufman was definitely worth making a movie about. I'm glad the maker has done that. I am certainly impressed. What a freak. That mud wrestling with women, for example. Really unbelievable haha!

What an inimitable guy, that Andy Kaufman 
. I like all those pranks he plays with his environment and all of America. I found his humor a bit awkward and not very funny, other than The Great Gatsby reading session. Nevertheless, Kaufman was unique in what he did and is beautifully portrayed by Jim Carrey.
