In this musical tribute to the 1930s and to Broadway, the King of Navarre and his three companions take a public oath obliging them to jointly dedicate all their energies to their studies for the next three years and to abstain from female beauty. . Their loyalty and honor are immediately tested with the arrival of the Princess of France and her three lovely companions. It's love at first sight for everyone involved, followed by the men's hopeless attempts to hide their love.
