"THE SCREEN'S GREAT LOVE STORY"
Roberta Baxter wants to be an actress. Her husband William, without her knowledge, is financially supporting a play for which she is cast. He secretly hopes it will be a flop, so Roberta gives up acting and returns home. William gets his way, but theater director Tony Linnard, eager for her in his next production, reveals to Roberta that her husband was involved in her recently flopped project. When William also confesses to her that he doesn't think she's a talented actress, their marriage is in jeopardy.
