Les Rois du Gag plot
Two brothers-in-law, Paul and François, try to break through as comedians in a theater in the slums of Paris. Their acts don't bring in a lot of money but they don't give up hope. At the same time, the famous entertainer Gaëtan, who has a TV show, also has problems. His shows aren't as successful as they used to be and his wife complains incessantly about his jokes. He decides to take on new blood for his shows. Paul and François get their chance at success.
