Le Mariage de Chiffon plot
Chiffon is a young eccentric girl from an aristocratic family who struggles with the conventions of her milieu. Her widowed mother wants Chiffon to marry a noble wealthy soldier she met at a train station. Chiffon, however, is in love with her much older and by no means wealthy uncle.
