Le Jardin des Plantes plot

In the spring of 1944, Fernand Bonnard quietly occupied himself with his plants and flowers. He is director of the botanical garden 'Le Jardin des Plantes', near the Gare d'Austerlitz in Paris. Bonnard is a pacifist. The Second World War and the resistance seem far away. However, his world suddenly collapses when his son is executed by the Nazis in reprisal after an attack.
