Le Bonheur de Pierre plot

Pierre, professor of quantum physics, inherits an inn in Canada. He leaves Paris with his daughter Catherine and travels to a small village in Quebec. Michel, the mayor of the village, would like to keep the inn for him and makes life hell for Pierre and his daughter, while the two hoped to find happiness in Sainte-Simone-du-Nord.
