La Stranezza plot
This dramatized biopic about Luigi Pirandello explores the addictive fascination a writer can pull out of a creative trough. It begins with the journey from Pirandello to Sicily. He goes there for his mentor's 80th birthday, but the return trip is postponed due to the funeral of his beloved nanny. Sebastiano and Onofrio, two gravediggers, happen to lead an amateur theater company, which provides a comical contrast to the serious situations the writer has to deal with.
