La Plus Belle pour Aller Danser plot
Fourteen-year-old Marie-Luce Bison is raised by her father in a jolly senior boarding house where he is the director. It's almost time for her new school's costume party: her dad doesn't want her to go... and she hasn't been invited anyway. But encouraged by Albert, her 80-year-old best friend, Marie-Luce enters the party dressed as a man. That night everyone thinks she's a boy... a boy that people look at and like. Then she decides to make up a male doppelgänger named Leo to finally live her teenage life. Of course, at home, the relationship with her father becomes complicated.
