Benjamin and Amélie, a young couple in their thirties, decide to buy their dream home using a life annuity agreement from Nicolette, a woman who appears to be dying. But shortly after the sale, she is doing much better, and the couple wonders if they might have been scammed. Soon, they find themselves financially backed into a corner and have reason to fear the worst.
