"Get ready to fight for your future wife"
Valentina seems to have the perfect life in New York, with a perfect job and a perfect boyfriend, Jason Tate, far away from her scandal-seeking political family in Mexico. When Jason proposes to her and wants to meet her family, about which she has been scrupulously silent, their two worlds collide. On top of the hilarious chaos, her family frames her ex, Angel, and they convince Valentina to have a marriage of convenience with him in an effort to stop further negative press reactions as her father runs for reelection. Ultimately, Valentina must choose where her heart belongs.
