La Bella di Roma plot
Nannina is about to marry Mario. However, his wedding plans are shattered when he is sent to prison after beating a police officer. She takes a job as a cashier in a coffee bar. The owner, the elder Oreste, falls in love with her. They want to open a restaurant together, but Oreste realizes that she still loves Mario.
