L'Idéal plot
Former lyricist Octave Parango starts "model scouting" in Moscow. This cynical hedonist leads a very pleasant life among the young Russian models and in the private jets of oligarchic friends... until he is approached by l'Idéal, the first cosmetics company in the world, which was rocked by a huge media scandal. Our anti-hero will have seven days to find a new face by crossing the borders of post-Communist Russia, under the command of Valentine Winfeld, a dry and authoritarian headmistress. Amid crisis rallies in Paris, the casting sessions in Moscow, a Miss pageant in Siberia, a party with a billionaire and a search for "new faces" at the four corners of the former Soviet Union, the lazy party animal and the frigid lady, who is a workaholic, learn to support each other and maybe even save each other.
