L'Exercice du Pouvoir plot

During the period of the Third Republic, Rachel Sartene, a young woman, marries the Minister of Commerce and the Post. She is introduced to various political circles and soon becomes the mistress of the President of the Council. However, when the cheated husband becomes aware of the facts, he makes use of his dominant position. He intercepts the letters that were intended for his wife, but it doesn't stop there.
