L'Effet Aquatique plot
Samir, a gangly forties, is a crane operator in Montreuil. He is madly in love with Agathe. Since she is a swimming teacher in Maurice Thorez's pool, he decides to approach her by taking swimming lessons with her. However, he can already swim well. But the lie doesn't hold up to three lessons, and to make matters worse, Agathe hates liars. She herself is chosen to represent the country at the tenth international congress of swimming teachers. Samir has no choice but to fly there in turn...
