L'Autre plot

Stan is an advertising executive and aspiring fantasy writer. He is recovering in a Quebec hospital from surgery in which a piece of bone affected by cancer was removed from his leg. Confused by the painkillers and largely immobile due to his struggle to adjust to his metal knee prosthesis, Stan spends his waking hours enduring the many intrusive visits from doctors, nurses, and concerned loved ones, such as his girlfriend Bénédicte and her sarcastic sister Fleur.
