Kleren Maken de Man plot
"Things are not always what they appear to be."
At the center of the entertainment story is a dress suit, stolen from a Dutch envoy and sold by a couple of slick boys for next to nothing from a buyer. Johan Kaart acts as a detective to track down the garment. Insurance agent Kees Brusse rents the dress suit because he is unexpectedly involved in a wedding. After the party, he cannot return the suit, because the buyer has closed his shop for a few days. Then Brusse roams around in a skirt and experiences adventures as a waiter, as a substitute for a cabaret program, as an amorous vagabond and even as a participant in motorcycle races.
