Kim-Chi-Jeon-Jaeng plot

The Korean president pays a visit to the Japanese prime minister and becomes involved in a heated debate about the origins of kimchi. The Japanese prime minister makes the bold statement that kimchi is an original Japanese dish, contrary to what the Korean president claims. When the Korean president returns home, he sets up a global program, including a nationwide 'kumchi contest'. Jang-Eun and her stepbrother Sung-Chan take part in this cooking competition where they compete with Mom's kimchi recipe.
