Kentucky Jubilee plot
"The barn's a-bustin! with fun, fight and frolic!"
Jerry Harris (Jerry Colonna) is a second-rate entertainer who joins singer Sally Shannon (Jean Porter), who aspires to a professional career. Together with reporter Jeff Benson (James Ellison), the three travel to the small town of Hickory, Kentucky. Jerry and Sally want to perform there at the annual music show. The purpose of the show is to raise money for a good cause. They experience hectic times when Jerry is kidnapped by a gang of criminals.
