Keitai Kareshi plot
High school student Ayumi commits suicide, leaving a cryptic message that reads "Will be killed by boyfriend". Ayumi's friends Satomi and Yuka investigate her suicide and soon link the act to a mobile phone dating simulation game called "Keitai Kareshi" (Mobile Boyfriend). The game, released by the popular mobile game site "Ice Cream", allows players to choose an avatar and send messages to other players. A love meter measures how well a player is doing. Through the game, Satomi comes into contact with mobile boyfriend Riku, who has downloaded her friend Eri on her phone. Eri dies of electrocution not long after her love meter goes to zero...
