Nice film in which a professional basketball player is rehabilitated by a female fan after a sports injury. A nice meet-cute, and often very sweet. Quite predictable, but the film still looks quite enjoyable. And this is largely thanks to the radiant Queen Latifah.

The film is particularly clichéd, because time and time again you wonder why Latifa's character accepts everything that happens to her (Common seems as smart as a shrimp). On the other hand, she really plays her role with verve. She is really so infectious that I secretly really enjoyed the film.

Typical case of guilty pleasure, which gets away with a predictable plot thanks to the nice performances.

36-year-old physical therapist Leslie Wright [Queen Latifah] is tired of blind dating. But when she bumps into Scott McKnight [Common], the star player of the New York Nets, at a gas station, there is an immediate connection. But Leslie's sister Morgan [Paula Patton] throws a spanner in the works. When Scott is seriously injured during a match, Leslie steps in at her sister's request to help Scott with his rehabilitation. You know how this is going to end, but there are more than enough surprising twists along the way. The two main characters avoid the clichés of the genre and thanks to the pleasant chemistry between Latifah and Common, you wish them the very best.
