"Sometimes a banana is just a banana!"
Dante is a nice, somewhat goofy and unfortunately rather ugly boy who falls in love with the beautiful and rich Maria. However, she is afraid of Dante's incessant expressions of love and goes to live with her uncle in Sicily. One Johnny Stecchino is hiding in that uncle's villa, a mafia leader who has been sentenced to death by the 'environment'. When the distraught Dante also comes to Sicily to look for his lover, the dolls are dancing. Dante looks exactly like Johnny Stecchino...
