Detective Guy Johnson gets $100 a week for shadowing millionaire Heyward. He is newly married to the beautiful Vivian. Guy one day finds the drunken Heyward near the corpse of Dolores Gonzales, the murder weapon still in Heyward's hand. Guy is convinced that Heyward has been tricked but can't prove it. Not only Heyward is arrested, but Guy is also suspected of complicity.
