"Love is what happens when you're busy making other plans."
Charlie and Claire are engaged. Claire plans a weekend in New York for both of them to prepare for the upcoming wedding. Anna and David are in the same boat and they also have a weekend in New York planned. Due to circumstances, both Claire and David are unable to join. Charlie and Anna get to know each other and spend the weekend planning the two weddings together.
