Il Ratto delle Sabine plot

Ernesto Molmenti, the schoolmaster in a small village, is married and is under his wife's bed. He has a latent passion for the theater and has already written a play called "Il Ratto delle Sabine". So far, however, Ernesto has only one fan left and that is Rosina the maid. When the famous Aristide Tromboni happens to be staying in the village, Ernesto asks him to star in his play.
