Il Ladro della Gioconda plot
Vincent is a charming thief. His specialties are stealing paintings and then fleeing over the roofs of the museums. After New York, he is now in Paris, where he is employed as an apprentice by the frame-maker Lemercier. In this way he can walk around the galleries of the Louvre without feeling suspicious, where he has set his mind on the portrait of Joconde. Lemercier's man-sick wife is fond of Vincent, but the latter has more eyes for a pretty blonde named Nicole, whom he noticed in the window of a brothel, the "Mona Lisa", where all the guest house guests apparently resemble a model from that day.
