Dialogue film.

And those can be fun. Unfortunately, this one is also often boring.

As someone described earlier, this film is mainly saved by the excellent acting performances. Although a little more storyline and really good jokes, or drama, would have been welcome. In the long run, it starts to get a bit boring.

Reasonable.

Star cast promised a lot of good for this clearly stage adaptation, because the film is full of dialogues. But also full of unsympathetic characters that you cannot identify with. Not that that has to be a killer for a film, but the dialogues and the problems they have with them don't interest you at all. Spacey and Shandling still have the best roles.

Watched 5 times now and I can continue to enjoy the wonderful acting performances! Penn & Spacey are a great interaction, but the rest of the cast also manages to convince without effort.

Good, realistic and sharp dialogues combined with the greatest talents is always a feast for a film lover like me!

No wonder this gem is in my top 10 and will undoubtedly stay there.

Goes into the player more often without a doubt.
