Cute.
Initially not a film that I had set up quickly, but when I turned on the film one day it turned out to be not that bad in almost every way. You often see these kinds of romance films fall into the water with concepts that are a bit too bland, but this film still knows how to jump with it.
Especially since the relationship between Hudson and McConaughey actually works. Two faces that have absolutely nothing in common and one of which even fools the other, but apart from each other they are two good roles who mainly know how to get the most out of themselves to help the story on track. It regularly creates hilarious situations.
It's a bit bland on the humor side and it all takes a bit too long, but that doesn't spoil the fun. The name may give away a film that works very simply and that is true, but in this case it has a bit more to it. Not because the story itself is made much stronger than it is, but because the chemistry just works so that the film is rarely bored. I have little to say, nice entertainment of 2 hours.
