Houla-Houla plot

Fernand, a modest teacher who teaches in Nogent-sur-Marne, is in love with the beautiful Jacqueline, who is transferred to Tahiti due to a mistake. When she arrives there, they even play a nasty trick on her: she is sent to the island of Houla-Houla, where the Mormons, a fanatical Catholic community, maintain a strict regime. Fernand decides to follow Jacqueline.
