Hotel Splendide plot
On a remote island, the Blanche family runs a dark and sad spa town, only accessible by ferry. According to the protocol, the guests are given seaweed and meals with eel. Until her death, the spa was run by the head of the family: Dame Blanche. After her death, her children continue in the same vein, until Kath, the former sous-chef and the love of one of the sons, returns unannounced to the island.
