"Sometimes love is a stranger. And sometimes it's someone you've known all your life."
Electrician Gus is thrilled when he and a group of friends get the chance to renovate the local bowling alley where they have many childhood memories. But because he is divorced from Leonora, he owes alimony and therefore he does not get a loan from the bank to make a down payment. Frustrated by this setback, he plans to help Leonora find a new husband as soon as possible so that he can be released from his alimony obligation. But there are also problems with this. His current girlfriend Rita notices that Gus spends more time with his ex-wife than with her. And meanwhile, Gus and Leonora's feelings come to the surface that they thought they no longer had.
