"Now what do I keep saying? Life is a marathon and you cannot win a marathon without putting a few band-aids on your nipples, right?" Laughed a lot and hard about the three killers to be (Jason Sudeikis and the toothbrush!), but also about the foul-mouthed Jennifer Aniston and the cold Kevin Spacey (who can of course play these kinds of roles in his sleep but still remains very good do: "Listen to me, you stupid little runt. I own you. You're my bitch!"). Wonderful entertainment. What else can part 2 bring except Christophe Waltz?

(Very funny, by the way: Kevin Spacey just becomes "Senior VP" himself and then demolishes the wall between his two offices. "However, as a cost-cutting measure, I will only be taking 85% of the additional salary I'm entitled to. It's called self-sacrifice, people – learn from this!")

A comedy that is in line with The Hangover in style, although I found the first part of that franchise a bit funnier than these Horrible Bosses. It's a bit hit-and-miss with this movie. Sometimes the humor is so flat that it is more uncomfortable than it makes you laugh. An example of that is actually the complete role, however good she looks here, of Jennifer Aniston. At other times, such as when the three gentlemen imagine themselves in the house of one of their bosses, the film is genuinely funny.

Many famous headlines pass by. In particular, Kevin Spacey, Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis - whom I could have a lot better at here than in We're the Millers - are doing well. The supporting roles of Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx, on the other hand, are hardly used. You have to like Charlie Day's way of playing. Personally, he mostly got on my nerves. Donald Sutherland's cameo, however outdated the joke actually is, I did appreciate. I think it's very subjective for any viewer who you think is or isn't on your toes in this movie. Plenty of choice, but I thought one character came out better than the other. As said, hit and miss. I have to say that overall I thought the movie was good. The pace is good and I had a good laugh a few times. Those faint moments are easily forgiven the film. Not so much fun that I immediately go after the sequel, but I understand that this film has acquired a certain popularity.

3*

A very funny movie. The trio Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day play well together. Although the screaming in Charlie Day's high-pitched voice did get on my nerves at times. And does Kevin Spacey have a toupé on his head? Jennifer Aniston looks very hot in this movie, she proves once again after the series Friends that she has good comedic timing. "Can you see my pussy?"
