Mediocre film about three young filmmakers who stay with the daughter of a famous director. A fairly romcom with clichéd characters, but in which the mutual relationships are amusingly worked out (this means that the film does not become boring). The role is made for Reese Witherspoon and she does not disappoint. Just under 3.0 stars because of the too good and sappy ending.

A dragon of a movie. The description is comedy, but I actually couldn't find any humor in this movie. Well, two children whose characters react overly mature (with "worldly" monologues, to which the younger sister responds with rolling eyes), which feels completely unbelievable given their age. But apparently that's supposed to be funny.

Furthermore, the main character's entanglements with three young men and her ex. There are some conflicts, with the ex, but also with the young man she hooks up with. You can draw everything out, especially of the latter. The irresponsible behavior that puts his lover second has been shown in so many previous films. And of course, there comes the repentance and he does the right thing in another similar moment, and then of course we as viewers have to believe that he has changed for the better. What a cliche! And also the divorce with the ex eventually goes super harmonious. It's all hardly believable.

In short, the film never really sands, so it never gets interesting. That wouldn't be a bad thing at all if the film could have lived up to the label "comedy", but in terms of humor, the film falls completely short. I can only give this film the bare minimum: 0.5*.

Nice romcom in its genre. Good for a relaxing cold Sunday afternoon.
