"James CAGNEY - Pat O'BRIEN And The Whole U. S. FLEET!"
Continuing his grudge against naval officer Biff Martin (Pat O'Brien), touchy construction worker Chesty O'Connor (James Cagney) enlists in the navy and manages to be stationed on the same ship as Biff. More complications arise when Chesty begins dating Biff's sister Dorothy Martin (Gloria Stuart), whom he met on shore while on leave.
