The English lawyer Dalton and the American sportsman Edwards both suffer from terminal bone cancer. In the hospital they try to forget their misery by looking at life together with a good dose of humor. When the two have only a few days to live, they pull off a stunt. They hijack an ambulance and visit the red light district of Amsterdam
