Guibord S'en Va-t-en Guerre plot
Guibord is an independent Member of Parliament representing Prescott-Makadewà-Rapides-aux Outardes, a vast province in Northern Quebec. With the whole country's eyes on him, he unwittingly finds himself in an awkward position when he must cast the deciding vote on whether Canada goes to war. Accompanied by his wife, his daughter and an idealistic Haiti intern named Souverain, he travels his district to consult his constituents. As the group of lobbyists get involved in a debate that spirals out of control, the Prime Minister is confronted with his own conscience.
